Significantly reduced prices for under 30's

We are keen to attract young golfers to Purley Downs, and that does not end with Juniors!

We have long recognised that it is often difficult for younger golfers to afford the cost of golf club membership and have had reduced fees to attract younger members into our Intermediates category for some years now.  This has always been very popular and we have attracted members from far afield.  A key aspect of being a member in this category at Purley Downs is that, whilst you may be paying less, you still have full membership rights within your chosen category (either Full or 6 Day).  This section of the club is strongly supported and as well as integrating fully in general club activities, it has its own Captain, and match schedule - including a hard fought Under 35's vs the Rest which is always a popular club event.

Our offers to younger members are even better.  With further reductions, to the already reduced fees, for those between 18 and 25.  In addition to these lower fees, those joining before their 31st birthday will also have the increases up to the full adult fee staged between 30 and 35.

From June 2022 the fees will be:

• Full Intermediates 18-20     £590
• Full Intermediates 21-25     £795
• Full Intermediates 26-30     £995
  
• Joining fee of £500

• 6 Day Intermediate  18-20    £485 (No play Saturday and Sunday before noon)
• 6 Day Intermediate  21-25    £695
• 6 Day Intermediate  26-30    £845
• Joining fee of £500
  

Other benefits of membership of Purley Downs include; (pre Covid, constantly changing at present)

• No tee time booking (outside of competitions and Sunday mornings), just turn up and play
• Two tee start, splitting 4 balls and 2 balls
• Strictly members and guests only at weekends

• A £200 fee is payable on application which is refundable or will be credited towards your joining fee on joining.
• A handicap of 28 or less is required for play on Saturday and Sunday mornings
